There are two types of fees or costs that you will be responsible for and should understand.
- Fixed costs hosting and hosting provider services:
These non-negotiable fees are passed on directly from the hosting providers. Your payment options on these are:
- Pay these yourself, directly, by providing your credit card or some other method acceptable to the hosting provider, or...
- You can have us pay the fees up front and bill you for them. If you choose to have us set up and make the payments, for these, we will add a 5% handling fee to cover our transaction costs.
- Fees for our services and billed to you:
These are fees associated with the consulting, and/or coding work we do for you. This is usually an hourly charge for services you contract for. These costs can be negotiable. These costs will be specified in the statement of work you will receive after our initial consultations and prior to commencement of the work.
- Down payment. Upon acceptance of the statement of work and specifications, 1/3 of the total contract is required, prior to the commencement of work.
- Periodic and Final payment(s).
- Periodic Payments:Contracts with large scope or size will warrant periodic payments based upon task/timeline completions and deliverables. These will be outlined in the statement of work's payment schedule.
- Final Payments: As the final changes and/or pages are delivered and reflected on the web, the remaining contract payments are required within 4 business days. This allows you to review your site and point out any adjustments that need be made. When payment is received and processed, all source code and access id's will be turned over to you.
